This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and build meaningful relationships with animals every day.Responsibilities<ul><li>Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their energy levels and needs, ensuring safety and enjoyment during each outing</li><li>Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining a clean home environment</li><li>Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and yourself</li><li>Monitor pet behavior closely, recognizing signs of distress or illness, and communicate any concerns to pet owners or veterinary professionals when necessary</li><li>Maintain detailed records of each pet&rsquo;s activities, health updates, and special instructions for owners</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in dog training, animal handling, or pet sitting is highly recommended</li><li>Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a strong plus</li><li>Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members</li><li>Experience working with diverse animals including dogs, cats, or even equine is preferred</li><li>A genuine love for animals combined with a responsible attitude towards their safety and well-being</li></ul>Join us on a rewarding journey caring for pets in a lively environment that values your enthusiasm and expertise.
