<div><p><b>Purpose/Description
</b></p><p>The Department of Management and Budget is seeking a Student Intern 2 . Our objective is to provide current undergraduate students with an opportunity to supplement education with practical experience. This internship is a part-time opportunity and temporary. Interns will contribute to ongoing projects, assist with daily operations, and gain a comprehensive understanding of how dollars and cents on spreadsheets translate to the public services rendered to 1.7 million residents. The Student Intern 2 will work under the direction of department staff. The level of responsibility is commensurate with the student's academic level. Student Intern 2 represents the intermediate working level. Student Interns 2 are currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school and perform more complex tasks requiring basic analytical skills and greater independence.</p></div><p></p>

</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality, demonstrating professionalism, and being punctual.
</li><li>Communicate professionally in both oral and written form.
</li><li>Support projects through research, reporting, and presentations.
</li><li>Perform data collection.
</li><li>Perform data analysis, focused on economic and financial data.
</li><li>Create and maintain economic and financial models.

</b><ul><li><p>Currently enrolled in college pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p></li></ul></li></ul></div><p></p>
