Wealthbox is looking for a <b>Software Engineer II </b>for our web-and-mobile CRM software for financial advisors. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and customer support teams to quickly iterate on customer feedback.</div><br>

A typical day might include making an enhancement that saves a customer hours of time per week, improving user experience, or pairing with other engineers on the team to build new features.</div><br>

<p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Implement new features and enhancements using the Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework.</li>
<li>Implement user-facing functionality with Typescript and React.</li>
<li>Collaborate and pair program with our experienced team of full-stack software engineers.</li>
<li>Help with problem-solving and issue resolution, collaborating on bug fixes and improvements</li>
</ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Skills &amp; Experience</b></p>
<ul><li>B.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study.</li>
<li>Experience building web applications with a modern web-oriented language like Ruby, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or Go.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.</li>
<li>Strong desire to learn the Ruby programming language and Rails framework.</li>
<li>Interest in AI, automations and cutting-edge engineering techniques.</li>
<li>Experience with relational databases and version control systems like Git is a plus.</li>
<li>Appreciation of UX and usability.</li>
<li>Appreciation for clear, maintainable, tested code.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and positively.</li>

<ul><li>Weekdays, during business hours</li>
<li>No travel required (fully remote)</li>
