The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project documentation, tracking financial and contractual information, and maintaining clear communication between internal teams, clients, and contractors. This position is primarily project-focused, with occasional administrative support as needed.

Work arrangement: Full-time position working 40 hours per week with benefits. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $45,000 – $55,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with internal equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and documentation across multiple projects
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and assist in communicating project status

Pre-Construction / Bidding:
- Coordinate bid processes, including bidder outreach and document distribution

  - Change orders and purchase orders
  - Contract control logs and project records
Project Closeout:

Team & Operational Support:
- Support Construction Management team coordination and workflow
- Maintain safety documentation, subscriptions, and compliance materials

Qualifications Preferred

Weber Murphy Fox (WMF) is seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to join our Integrated Design and Construction team in the Erie, PA market.

This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and trade partners to deliver complex commercial projects. Our work spans higher education, K‑12, healthcare, civic, retail, and manufacturing markets.

As the primary on‑site representative for WMF, the Field Superintendent is responsible for maintaining safe, well‑coordinated, and on‑schedule job sites while providing strong leadership, communication, and client service.

Work arrangement: Full‑time (40 hours/week). The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with internal equity.

Responsibilities Include:

Serve as WMF’s primary on‑site representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, inspectors, and code officials
Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
Monitor contractor performance, quality, schedule adherence, and site safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and compliance.
Lead weekly safety and coordination meetings with contractors and project teams
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, temporary facilities, survey crews, and third‑party inspections

Assist the Project Manager with change order evaluations, time‑and‑material tracking, and issue resolution

Qualifications Preferred

Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn construction‑related software and field technology

Project Architect

Weber Murphy Fox is currently seeking a Project Architect with 5+ years’ experience. This position is located in our Erie Office and will work integrally with all WMF locations. Qualified candidates will provide support on a variety of projects from programming through construction administration. The ideal candidate must be motivated, articulate, have excellent communication skills (oral, graphic, and written), the ability to multi-task, maintain and build client relationships, and have business development or marketing capabilities.

Work arrangement: Full-time position working 40 hours per week with benefits. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $75,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, licensure, and alignment with internal equity.

Responsibilities Include:

Project Production and Management:
- Working as part of a collaborative design team on all phases of a project from programming through construction administration.
- Creating schematic design materials from 3-D renderings, walk-throughs, plans, elevations, etc.
- Developing designs and providing oversight of producing construction drawings and construction specifications for bidding and construction.
- Developing and modeling details.
- Researching and selecting building equipment and products.
- Writing 3-part, technical specifications (Divisions 00, 01, and 02-14)
- Coordination and management of WMF project team and consultants’ assignments.
- Assisting with material take offs for cost estimating.
- Managing multiple project schedules, client programs and budgets.
- Drafting proposal letters, and owner and consultant contracts.
- Working with the business office to generate monthly project invoices.
Business Development:
- Assisting with business development initiatives and firm growth.
- Proactively seeking new clients and project opportunities.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Working closely with Marketing Coordinator to generate RFP responses.
- Attending local outings and events as needed to promote WMF’s services.

Qualifications Preferred

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or comparable field from an accredited university required.
5+ years’ of relevant architectural experience.
Completed Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and taking Architectural Registration Examinations (ARE) or a licensed architect.
Experience with Revit required. Familiarity with software such as Enscape and Sketchup is preferred.
An understanding of applying BIM to diverse project types and scales.
Knowledge of construction materials, assemblies, standards, specifications, and building codes.
A strong desire to participate in the entire project delivery process as a member of the design and construction management team.
Excellent organization and time management skills.

PROJECT COORDINATOR (Erie)

Project Coordinator

Weber Murphy Fox is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator

to work integrally with our project-focused teams in our Erie office. This role supports Project Managers and the Construction Management team across all phases of a project—from conceptualization and bidding through construction and closeout.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project documentation, tracking financial and contractual information, and maintaining clear communication between internal teams, clients, and contractors. This position is primarily project-focused, with occasional administrative support as needed.

Work arrangement: Full-time position working 40 hours per week with benefits. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $45,000 – $55,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with internal equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and documentation across multiple projects
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and assist in communicating project status
- Maintain organized project records and ensure timely follow-through on assigned tasks
Pre-Construction / Bidding:
- Coordinate bid processes, including bidder outreach and document distribution
- Maintain bidder lists and track participation
- Prepare and distribute bid documents, addenda, and bid results
- Assist with preparation of Project Manuals (Divisions 00 and 01) and technical specifications
- Verify bid compliance and support bid tabulation efforts
- Set up project logs, tracking systems, and document management tools
Construction Phase:
- Track and log RFIs, submittals, and change orders; maintain accurate status logs
- Assist in drafting and processing construction bulletins and design modifications
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, reports, and project communications
- Monitor contract documentation, including insurance certificates and compliance requirements
Project Accounting & Financial Coordination:
- Process contractor invoices, assign cost codes, and track approvals
- Maintain project financial logs and support monthly reporting
- Track budgets, retainage, and reimbursable expenses
- Assist with preparation of project cost summaries and billing
Contracts & Documentation Management:
- Draft, manage, and execute AIA contracts for consultants, contractors, and design services
- Create, maintain, and coordinate comprehensive project documentation, including:
  - Trade contracts and subcontracts
  - Submittals and RFIs
  - Bid documents and addenda
  - Change orders and purchase orders
  - Contract control logs and project records
Project Closeout:
- Coordinate collection of closeout documents, including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts
- Assist in assembling complete project records and final documentation packages
Team & Operational Support:
- Support Construction Management team coordination and workflow
- Maintain safety documentation, subscriptions, and compliance materials
- Assist with general team operations as needed

Qualifications Preferred

2–5 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or project coordination
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
Collaborative, professional work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with project or accounting systems (Deltek Vantagepoint, Newforma, or similar) strongly preferred
Basic understanding of construction documentation and project accounting principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Construction Field Superintendent

Weber Murphy Fox (WMF) is seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to join our Integrated Design and Construction team in the Erie, PA market.

This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and trade partners to deliver complex commercial projects. Our work spans higher education, K‑12, healthcare, civic, retail, and manufacturing markets.

As the primary on‑site representative for WMF, the Field Superintendent is responsible for maintaining safe, well‑coordinated, and on‑schedule job sites while providing strong leadership, communication, and client service.

Work arrangement: Full‑time (40 hours/week). The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with internal equity.

Responsibilities Include:

Serve as WMF’s primary on‑site representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, inspectors, and code officials
Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
Monitor contractor performance, quality, schedule adherence, and site safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and compliance.
Lead weekly safety and coordination meetings with contractors and project teams
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, temporary facilities, survey crews, and third‑party inspections
Interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for contractors and stakeholders
Assist the Project Manager with change order evaluations, time‑and‑material tracking, and issue resolution
Issue field directives as required and help resolve on‑site conflicts
Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, including daily logs, progress photos, as‑built drawings, and weekly/monthly reports
Attend job conferences and coordination meetings throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications Preferred

Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience
Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while working under established deadlines
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn construction‑related software and field technology
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
Ability to pass required background checks
Authorized to work in the United States
