<div>Position: Physical Therapist (PT) 
Facility: Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation 
Location: Lakeland, Florida 
Shift: PRN 
Salary: $55&ndash;$57 per hour

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Evaluate residents and develop appropriate treatment goals and methods.
</li>
<li>Implement the physical therapy treatment plan and complete all related documentation.
</li>
<li>Apply therapeutic techniques in gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture control, sensory awareness, sitting/standing skills, balance, and orientation.
</li>
<li>Design and fit adaptive devices, and train residents in their use, including orthotics and prosthetics.
</li>
<li>Select physical modalities suited to each resident's needs and mobility activities.
</li>
<li>Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure appropriate therapeutic regimens.
</li>
<li>Instruct residents in mobility activities and evaluate their progress.
</li>
<li>Adapt programs according to the individual needs of each resident.
</li>
<li>Participate in resident care and staffing conferences.
</li>
<li>Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards.
</li>
<li>Conduct training programs for medical, nursing, and other personnel in physical therapy techniques.
</li>
<li>Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
</li>
<li>Maintain and report equipment needs for repair.
</li>
<li>Ensure a caring and compassionate environment for residents and their families, recognizing individual needs and rights.
</li>
</ul>Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
</li>
<li>At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home preferred.
</li>
