 We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a fast-growing SME Technology Company, who provide a range of safety critical systems to the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
 
 
 The role will play a dual role in creating a new Web Based User Portal for customer product pre-order configuration and specification and support internal automation and productions systems with tailored bespoke software solutions.

 Software Engineer Role
 
 
 The role will be an addition to an established team and will work alongside a multidisciplined group of Engineering and R&amp;D biased professionals.
 
 
 The successful candidate will be responsible for a suite of tools used both internally within the business, and by their customers and channel partners. These tools interface to the various eCommerce platforms and on-site automation machinery and systems.
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 &bull; Maintaining existing software-based customer tools
 
 
 &bull; Develop, test, release enhancements to existing tools
 
 
 &bull; Develop new tools to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 Software Engineer Requirements
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or similar
 </li>
 <li>
 Good experience within industry of developing user Software Applications (Engineering / Automation)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience and knowledge of C#
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience and knowledge of Java
 </li>
 <li>
 Some exposure of using WinForms or similar
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic experience with HTML
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of SQL databases
 </li>
 <li>
 Some experience with VBA
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience design progressive web apps
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using REST APIs
 </li>
 <li>
 Agile methodologies
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using Azure DevOps
 </li>
 </ul>
