<div><div><b>SUMMARY</b></div>
<div></div><div>Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer or box truck to deliver finished product to customers in accordance with state and federal laws</div>
<div></div><div><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b></div>
<div></div><ul><li> Complies with Driver responsibilities as outlined in company DAART program and as required by DOT&hellip;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain vehicle in accordance to Elkhart Transportation management policy</li></ul>
<ul><li> Operates vehicle in a safe and efficient manner complying with company policy and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support on time delivery by transporting loads by established route to proper destination as efficient as possible while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Inspect trailer loads to ensure proper loading processes and it is the correct load before leaving facility.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Verify product count while truck is being loaded.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Comply with obtaining correct acknowledgement or signature and date for bill of lading and necessary signatures and date; return properly completed documentation to Transportation Manager.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Comply with performance measures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Duties may vary depending on location</li></ul>
<div></div><div><b>REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS</b></div>
<div></div><div>Education:</div>
<ul><li> High School Diploma or GED required</li></ul>
<ul><li> CDLA License</li></ul>
<div></div><div>Experience</div>
<ul><li> Prior experience driving in large vehicles, such as box truck or similar</li></ul>
<ul><li> Demonstrated experience practicing safe driving practices</li></ul>
<ul><li> Previous experience delivering and handling freight preferred</li></ul>
