Salary Information</b></div><div><b>
Hourly Rate:</b> $18.78 &ndash; $33.92 per hour, based on the current Classified Salary Schedule and depending on education and experience.</div><div>
This is a 9-month position with a 179-day calendar. The District offers a comprehensive benefits package. Pay is distributed in 12 equal monthly payments.</div><div></div><div><b>
Position Summary</b></div><div>
The SPED Paraprofessional supports students with special needs by assisting in the delivery of instructional and behavioral support services under the direction of licensed staff. This position helps ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment while promoting student independence and academic growth.</div><div></div><div><b>
Qualifications for the Position</b></div><ul><li>
Minimum of an Associate's degree or the equivalent of two years of college required, or a passing score on the WorkKeys assessment</li><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred</li><li>
Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred</li><li>
Experience assisting students with reading, writing, math, and other academic areas preferred</li><li>
Ability to supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and school grounds</li><li>
Ability to support instruction by tutoring, reinforcing learning, and supervising independent and group work under the direction of licensed staff</li><li>
Ability to perform clerical tasks and assist with communication between home and school</li><li>
Ability to respond to minor emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed</li><li>
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills</li><li>
Ability to perform additional duties as assigned by the administration</li></ul><div></div><div><b>
