<div><p>Full Time: This is a dual combination position for Receptionist/Med-Tech</p><p>
Med-Tech duties: Responsible for storing, set up, distributing, and documenting medication service to residents in the accordance with all laws and regulations.</p><p>
Receptionist: Responsible for answering the phones, distributing newspaper, placing breakfast order through E-Menu system, monitoring camera system and pendant system.
</p><p></p><div>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
<br>
<ul><li>Maintains resident medication records in accordance with policy and regulations</li><li>Assures medications are available for distribution by communicating with pharmacies, residents and families.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to distinguish different types of medications and uses/or is able to use resources when more information is necessary in order to assure medication is stored and distributed safely.</li><li>Sets up and delivers medications to residents for self-administration on a timely and accurate basis and in accordance with residents records.</li><li>Makes pertinent observations regarding resident&rsquo;s conditions and reports all documentation meets the regulatory requirements. Seeks consultation form Supervisor or Pharmacy resource when appropriate.</li><li>May assist in other areas f resident care and services as directed by the Supervisor.</li><li>Follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines as outlined in Employee Handbook.</li><li>Performs all duties in a safe manner. Participates in the safety program.</li><li>Reports to Med Tech on shift any resident care needs that need follow up for next shift.</li><li>Participates with training and In-Services.</li><li>Completes end of shift reports.</li></ul></div><div>
ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<br>
<ul><li>Must have experience in and demonstrate proficiency with the ability to perform job duties in a safe manner.</li><li>Previous experience in an assisted living environment preferred.</li><li>Must be proficient with communication skills, both written and oral, and must have the ability to read and write, and understand English.</li><li>Must be able to relate well with residents and families.</li></ul></div></div>
