Job Requirements:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Assumes responsibility and accountability for assisting professional OR personnel by providing housekeeping, inventory, and stocking services. Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution. Stock all warmers in OR with fluids and blankets during shift and at end of shift. Make sure formalin and specimen cups are well stocked in sub-sterile areas. Evenly distribute all necessary holding devices, ex.(candy cane / allen stir-ups) in sub-sterile areas. Trained as anesthesia techs to cover when anesthesia tech is absent. Help transfer patients to OR bed and back to stretcher. Help position patients for surgical procedures. Transport specimens to lab. Assist anesthesia with hooking up patients to transport monitors when transporting from ICU. Clean lead monthly. Transport blood to the OR when needed. Must be knowledgeable in all OR procedures to be able to get the OR&rsquo;s set up with the proper equipment for the surgeries. Ex., Vascular, Neuro, Bariatrics, etc.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Job Requirements:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Delivers all aspects of Respiratory Care to all age groups. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff members and acts as a resource person. Is able to cross train in other areas and willing to float to fulfill hospital needs. Participates in department QI studies, Inservices, and meetings. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assesses and maintains airway, assists with intubation, transport of the intubated stroke patient. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.</div><div></div><div><br>

Qualifications:

Graduate of an AMA approved program. Current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida.</div><div>
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS</div><div>
Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital which includes adult critical care.</div><div>
MUST HAVE ONE YEAR ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE.</div><div>
NICU LEVEL III EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
