Embrace a lively, collaborative environment dedicated to advancing physiotherapy practices and promoting patient well-being through expert care and innovative techniques.Duties<ul><li>Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing personalized treatment plans for outpatient clients across diverse age groups, including geriatrics, and orthopedics.</li><li>Implement physical therapy treatments utilizing manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.</li><li>Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage aligned with clinical standards.</li><li>Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems following established medical documentation standards.</li><li>Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li>Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, exercises, and home health strategies to promote ongoing recovery outside the clinical setting.</li><li>Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards and ensure all medical documentation reflects current physiotherapy practices and patient progress.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior outpatient experience in physical therapy settings is highly valued.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, and medical terminology to support accurate assessments and effective treatment implementation.</li><li>Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy is preferred.</li><li>Proven ability to operate medical equipment used in physiotherapy treatments safely and effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Experience managing electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li><li>Background working within outpatient clinics or home health environments that involve discharge planning and acute care procedures is advantageous.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Licensure: Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Pennsylvania.</li><li>Education: Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.</li><li>Certification: Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li><li>Transportation: Valid PA driver&rsquo;s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.</li><li>Clearances: Ability to pass PA State Police Criminal Record Check and child abuse clearances (required for community care).</li></ul>Are you tired of grueling weekend rotations, evening shifts, and working through holidays?
