<b>Reports to:</b> Foster Care Supervisor<br>
<b>Position Type:</b> Full-Time | Hourly<br>

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time <b>Foster Care Case Manager</b> to join our foster care team serving Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Coordinate the development, review and implementation of services, case management, safety/behavior intervention plans and treatments provided to individuals served.</li><li>
Coordinate all community referrals, resources and services to the family.</li><li>
Oversee all services provided to individuals and their families, monitor the quality of care, ensure compliance with contractual terms and monitor regulatory program compliance.</li><li>
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of required medical and dental services for all foster children.</li><li>
Visit each assigned child at least once each month in the foster home.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records, confidentiality and timely reports.</li><li>
Prepare court reports and petitions, and attend court hearings to provide testimony to support the permanency, safety and well-being of the child/family.</li><li>
Coordinate visitation and supervise children with parents, siblings and relatives.</li><li>
Act as a liaison with schools and other community agencies.</li><li>
Attend staff meetings and treatment planning meetings as required.</li><li>
Administer drug screens.</li><li>
Transport clients (as needed).</li><li>
Engage and encourage family member participation in services and case planning to address needs.</li><li>
Provide emergency, on-call interventions after hours and on holidays, as required.</li><li>
Integrate learning from required DHHS training into day-to-day responsibilities.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social work or a human services related field (required)</li><li>
Experience working with children and families preferred</li><li>
Valid Michigan driver&rsquo;s license, registration, auto insurance and reliable transportation (required)</li><li>
Reliable, responsible attitude with a compassionate, quality-driven approach</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Schedule &amp; Compensation</b></h3><ul><li>
Employment type: Full-time, 40 hours / week</li><li>
Starting salary: <b>$43,800 /year</b>, based on experience</li><li>
Hybrid Remote: Flexible schedule, traveling into the community throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties regularly for home visits.</li><li>
In-office: 2 days / week, remote opportunities available</li><li>
On-call: rotation, on-call pay provided</li><li>
