This role requires the ability to read and understand policy manuals and safety rules, follow safety regulations, and complete paperwork efficiently. As a plumber with our company, you will maintain a clean, organized truck and up-to-date inventory, ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.What you Will do:<ul><li>Service Calls &amp; Installations: Perform residential plumbing services including repairs, installations, and maintenance for a variety of plumbing systems.</li><li>Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with homeowners, consulting them on the best options for repairs and replacements, ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li>Heating Systems: Work with various types of heating systems, including hydronic and steam heating systems, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, installation, and parts teams to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Plumbing Codes &amp; Safety: Adhere to all local plumbing codes, including IPC, and follow safety regulations to ensure safe and effective service.</li><li>Truck &amp; Inventory Management: Keep your company truck clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary tools and materials.</li><li>Paperwork &amp; Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork on time and accurately, ensuring records are up-to-date.</li><li>Customer Property Protection: Ensure customer property is protected and handled with care during all installations and repairs.</li><li>Stress Management: Handle plumbing issues and stressful situations professionally and with confidence.</li><li>Continual Learning: Participate in weekly meetings, ongoing training sessions, and stay updated on plumbing technologies and best practices.</li></ul>Requirements and Skills:<ul><li>Proven track record in residential plumbing with at least 3 years of experience.</li><li>Clean, safe driving record and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IPC plumbing codes, DWV systems, domestic plumbing systems, and the use of power tools and plumbing equipment.</li><li>Soldering Skills: Proficient in soldering and other necessary plumbing techniques.</li><li>Math Skills: Strong math skills for calculating measurements, pipe sizes, and other essential aspects of plumbing work.</li><li>Decision-Making: Ability to make sound on-the-job decisions and resolve plumbing issues effectively.</li><li>Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners.</li><li>Time Management: Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize and complete jobs in a timely manner.</li></ul>Why you&rsquo;ll love Princeton Air:<ul><li>Competitive Pay: Receive a competitive hourly rate plus commission.</li><li>Growth Opportunities: Take advantage of continuous training and opportunities for career advancement within the company.</li><li>Supportive Environment: Join a positive, supportive work culture where teamwork and success are encouraged.</li></ul>Who We are:We specialize in providing exceptional HVAC, plumbing, and electrical solutions to both residential and commercial clients.
