We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a cross-functional team to fulfill projects that meet the specified objectives and expectations of our clients and stakeholders.
At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:<ul><li>
Bachelor degree or equivalent Project Management experience in manufacturing or machinery installation</li><li>
3 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades, manufacturing, or machinery installation</li><li>
Familiarity with engineering principals, and codes that govern the design of machinery and structures</li></ul>
It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>Previous experience in theatre rigging and installation or entertainment production industries</li></ul>
As a Project Manager a typical day might include:
<ul><li>Performing project management duties such as project organization, budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing/production functions as required to lead projects through the entire planning, design, manufacturing, and installation process. This includes travel to work sites when required</li><li>
Interacting in a professional manner with all designers, engineers, production personnel, contractors, and/or customers involved with the same or related projects</li><li>
Facilitating project team efforts and actions to interpret specifications and drawings and taking responsibility for all technical aspects of creating complete, functional and safe mechanical designs from them</li><li>
Awareness of multiple project schedules and management of multiple projects</li><li>
Understanding project contractual conditions and driving performance to meet them</li><li>
Performing the following project management activities, including but not limited to:<ul><li>
Drawing submittal coordination including review and coordination with other partners, both internal and external</li><li>
Coordinating drawing and production schedule with engineering and operations</li><li>
Drawing and packing list release</li><li>
Filing of all project documentation within JR Clancy folder structures</li><li>
Developing &amp; submitting RFI&rsquo;s and Change Orders</li><li>
Subcontractor and vendor coordination</li><li>
Site coordination with contractor and other trades</li><li>
Risk analysis and mitigation</li><li>
Project billings and costing analysis</li><li>
Post-mortem review and Lessons Learned for future projects</li></ul></li></ul>
