Position Overview: 
Wesley Village is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an entry-level Accounting Associate position. This role offers part-time hours with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting or billing career while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment and working alongside an experienced leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes</li>
<li>Support resident billing, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay</li>
<li>Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately</li>
<li>Assist residents and families with billing and general questions</li>
<li>Sort and distribute incoming mail</li>
<li>Prepare and make bank deposits</li>
<li>Perform general office and administrative duties as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Coursework, training, or experience in accounting, finance, or billing preferred</li>
<li>Basic understanding of accounting principles</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and willingness to learn</li>
</ul>
Preferred (but not required):
<ul>
<li>Experience in healthcare billing (Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance)</li>
<li>Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or PointClickCare</li>
<li>Experience with data entry</li>
</ul>
