Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) team in California. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment. This role supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with California regulations.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments</li><li>
Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures</li><li>
Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards</li><li>
Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately</li><li>
Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene</li><li>
Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies</li><li>
Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance</li><li>
Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Active California Dental Assistant certification (as required by state law)</li><li>
X-ray certification (California compliant)</li><li>
CPR/BLS certification</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures</li><li>
Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred</li><li>
Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus</li></ul>
