West Hills Learning Center is looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, ages 3 1/2-4 1/2 years old, teaching them the skills to be independent, happy, successful learners.Some of the position requirements are to be available and willing to:<ul><li>Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM--6:00 PM.</li><li>Supervise and care for children in a warm, nurturing, &quot;home-like&quot; environment.</li><li>Be willing to support the classroom by serving food, cleaning, assisting with bathroom needs, presenting during group time, closing the classroom at the end of the day, etc.</li><li>Applicants must be dependable, flexible, have the ability to take initiative and follow written and oral directions in English.</li><li>Must be comfortable communicating with parents and other staff.</li><li>Enroll in the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) Central Background Registry (CBR).</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Classroom: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
