We are looking for a dynamic, team-oriented, and customer-focused restaurant server to join our Westlake Assisted Living!We are currently seeking applicants for Dining Server positions. This position is also often referred to as Dietary Aide, Dietary Server, or Dining Services Aide.What do Dining Servers do at Westlake Assisted Living?Dining Servers provide food service to our residents in our dining room, complete cleaning in work areas and dining room, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.What experience or skills do you need to be a Dining Server at Danbury?<ul><li>Experience in a senior living dining, food service, or dietary department is helpful, but not required.</li><li>A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.</li><li>Organize and adjust tables for dining areas, paying special attention to cleanliness and ease of use</li><li>Assist team members with preparing and cooking meals for the facility</li><li>Deliver meals and food trays to patients at predetermined times</li><li>Discard trash and remove waste after scheduled dining hall times</li><li>Monitor pantry stock and inform management of items running low and in need or re-ordering</li><li>Assist kitchen manager in creating menus within the budget and requirements of patients</li><li>Basic understanding of kitchen cookware and appliances</li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills are needed to successfully prepare large-scale catering orders</li><li>Ability to work on your feet and in the standing position for an extended period</li></ul>Flexibility in terms of availability, able to work holidays and weekends are generally preferred<ul><li>&middot; Ability to lift and transport heavy trays and carts as needed</li><li>If you&rsquo;re someone that wants to make our residents&rsquo; days better, then apply now for immediate consideration!</li></ul>Additional Information: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
