Job Description
The IT Risk Analyst II is a member of WGU's IT Security Risk team. Core responsibilities include third-party risk management (TPRM) and security risk assessments of vendors, suppliers, internal systems, and projects. The analyst recommends controls to reduce risk to the university, and those recommendations have to rest on real understanding: how the system works, what the vendor actually does for WGU, and what the business is trying to accomplish. This is a seasoned analyst role. You will work independently on problems of diverse scope, exercise good judgment in selecting assessment methods, and advise stakeholders inside and outside the security function. 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Conduct third-party and supplier risk assessments end to end: scoping, evidence review (SOC 2 reports, questionnaires, contracts), risk analysis, and a clear residual risk conclusion.</li><li>
Conduct security risk assessments of internal systems, projects, and applications using industry-accepted frameworks, including NIST and similar standards.</li><li>
Perform Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research on third parties, suppliers, and applications to establish the security profile of the target of evaluation.</li><li>
Work with engineers, architects, and business units to understand how a system, vendor, or project actually works before recommending controls. Recommendations are grounded in that understanding, not in a checklist.</li><li>
Recommend security controls that fit the risk and the business context, and support the teams responsible for implementing them.</li><li>
Provide guidance to operational teams and third parties on remediating deficiencies identified in assessments. Remediation is owned by the responsible team; the analyst advises.</li><li>
Work with IT and business unit management to keep third parties, applications, and suppliers aligned with the university's security requirements.</li><li>
Serve as lead analyst on risk analysis, third-party risk, and exception-to-policy efforts as assigned.</li><li>
Articulate risk to management in plain language: what the risk is, who it affects, and what it costs to accept or fix.</li><li>
Measure, collect, and report on key risk indicators and information security services.</li><li>
Identify and build AI efficiencies in risk and assessment workflows, including AI-assisted analysis and agent-based tooling.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>

The Staff Software Engineer is a position of technical expertise, influence, and leadership in the technology realm. The Finance Manager serves as WGU's lead financial advisor responsible for project financial planning, funding strategy, capital planning, cash flow forecasting, financial governance, and executive financial reporting for our campus development. This role develops and maintains project financial models, evaluates funding alternatives, assesses financial risk, and provides decision support to ensure sound financial stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.

Prelicensure Clinical Instructors are subject matter experts who teach and mentor students when engaged in experiential clinical course work; in a remote/onsite environment. This faculty position varies in the type, length, and intensity of instructional methods and is based upon student and facility needs. Prelicensure Clinical Instructors (Hourly) are subject matter experts who teach and mentor students when engaged in experiential clinical course work; in a remote/onsite environment. This faculty position varies in the type, length, and intensity of instructional methods and is based upon student and facility needs. The Clinical Instructor works on a team to support an assigned group of students and offers specialized instruction on challenging experiential/clinical course work. Faculty interacts with students in both group and one-on-one settings. The Clinical Instructor ensures students are successful within their clinical placement setting as they oversee clinical learning.

Job Description
The Supplier Relationship Analyst is the primary point of contact between the University and current and potential suppliers. They will communicate internal and external product and business strategies to support and advise regarding potential areas for partnerships and improvements in relation to the student experience. The Supplier Relationship Analyst, working with cross-functional stakeholders, will aid in the evaluation and recommendation of products and/or processes from supplier portfolios based on identified needs for program development or student satisfaction and in support of department and university strategies. They will manage the portfolio of several suppliers and maintain current and relevant knowledge of their suppliers&rsquo; products and services and ensure they continue to meet university needs, as well as state/federal guidelines and policies. They will drive supplier results by pushing suppliers to achieve contractual and operational excellence in their performance through regular supplier evaluations and business reviews. The Supplier Relationship Analyst owns the business relationship and holds themselves and their suppliers accountable.

Actively manages the relationship between Academic Programs and external partners to facilitate the timely delivery of quality learning experiences.</li><li>
Collaborates with departmental stakeholders to ensure the procurement and/or implementation of all learning resources are successful and meet established criteria, including accessibility, technical, security, and quality standards.</li><li>
Consults with internal and external stakeholders to recommend any available products and delivery systems within an assigned supplier&rsquo;s portfolio, following established processes for legal and purchasing, if applicable.</li><li>
