Position Summary
 The HR Assistant provides hands-on support for the daily operations of the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on recruiting and staffing logistics while also supporting HR/Payroll administration, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance-related activities.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely entry, review, and submission of hourly employee time records to support on schedule payroll processing.</li>
<li>Manage recruiting activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and follow-up communications.</li>
<li>Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks.</li>
<li>Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, employee recordkeeping, and HR documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain employee files and support compliance with company policies and employment regulations.</li>
<li>Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR-related matters.</li>
<li>Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and internal communications.</li>
<li>Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.</li>
<li>Perform related duties as assigned.</li>

Typical Working Conditions
 <ul>
<li>Work involves both office and site environments, requiring compliance with all safety and environmental standards and occasional evening or weekend work. Occasional offsite travel may be necessary depending on assigned duties.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience
 <ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Prior Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or related professional experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented.</li>
<li>Access to confidential and/or privileged information, accordingly, discretion, good judgment, and integrity is critical and required.</li>

<li>Proven ability to manage extensive calendaring and scheduling with precision.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe experience preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent standards of accuracy and follow-through.</li>
<li>Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential or sensitive information.</li>

<li>This position is expected to pay $63,000 - $75,000 annually; depending on skills, experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.</li>
