The Environmental Project Scientist- Air Quality/Emissions is a mid-level position within our Integrated Air Services (IAS) Group. WESTON&rsquo;s IAS team conducts testing projects to assist our clients in development of air quality improvement strategies and demonstrate emissions compliance with industry specific regulations set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 40 &ndash; Protection of Environment. The project technical scopes are typically related to measurement of air emissions directly from an industrial source and/or the ambient air in the vicinity of the source using state of the art instrumentation housed in mobile laboratories.</div><div><b>

As a mid-level professional, you&rsquo;ll be part of our IAS team, conducting critical testing projects.</li><li>
These projects help our clients develop air quality improvement strategies and demonstrate emissions compliance.</li><li>
Your work will involve measuring air emissions directly from industrial sources or assessing ambient air quality near these sources.</li><li>
Armed with state-of-the-art instrumentation housed in mobile laboratories, you&rsquo;ll be at the forefront of environmental science.</li><li>

Most of our project testing sites are in the Mid-Atlantic Region.</li><li>
But here&rsquo;s the exciting part: You might travel up to 75% of the time, exploring different regions across the US.</li><li>
Don&rsquo;t worry&mdash;we cover all your travel expenses, and there&rsquo;s a daily per-dem rate for meals.</li><li>
Project assignments with WESTON groups in other regions in the US are possible which opens the door to explore areas of the country.</li><li>

Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>
A BS or AS degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, Electronics Technology, or related fields is preferred.</li><li>
Technical High School graduates with electrical/electronic and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.</li><li>
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of air emissions testing and leadership experience.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>
Ability to learn technical sampling techniques.</li><li>
Ability to work outdoors at elevations.</li><li>
Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.</li></ul><div><b>

Weston is seeking an Associate Engineer with 0-4 years&rsquo; experience to assist with design services, for engineering projects primarily being executed by the design group out of West Chester, PA office involving both clean construction and environmental remediation. The associate engineer is responsible for advancing designs and specifications, under supervision of a licensed engineer, both in the office and field.</div><div>

Location</b>: West Chester, PA. (Hybrid) This is a hybrid position which blends in-office, on-site and work from home.</div><div>

Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering with approximately 0 to 4 years engineering experience preferred.</li><li>
EIT Preferred</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, including ability to convey technical presentations and participate in project meetings.</li><li>
Ability to work both in a team and independently.</li><li>
US Citizen who is able and willing to obtain security clearance to perform work on DoD sites.</li><li>
OSHA 40 Hour Hazwoper, OSHA 30 Hour Construction Certification and CPR/First Aid Training a plus.</li></ul><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Aid in the preparation of site civil designs, stormwater management calculations and BMP selection.</li><li>
Assist and gain understanding of construction permitting process.</li><li>
Assist in creation of construction specifications related to earthworks, site grading, erosion and sedimentation control, restoration, etc.</li><li>
Provide engineering field services during construction under the supervision of a P.E.</li><li>
Ability to work with an engineering team to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.</li><li>
Able to complete or assist with requests for proposals (RFP), develop scopes of work, obtain vendor quotes, and evaluate technical merit.</li><li>
Experience with field construction, shop drawing reviews, and submittals is a plus.</li><li>
Assist or lead field teams to collect environmental samples</li><li>
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and ability to traverse uneven terrain.</li><li>
Diligent and timely compliance with and implementation of company business practices including adherence with the Engineering Design Quality Management Manual.</li><li>
Regular participation in local professional societies and associations for networking.</li><li>
Execution of all work professionally, safely, and ethically according to company values and client contracts.</li><li>
Maintains a valid driver&rsquo;s license and can travel.</li><li>
Willing to travel (~30% of the work year), and most travel is typically within the Philadelphia-metro area while spending 30% of your time in the office collaborating with your teams.</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.</li></ul><div>
