Weston is seeking a Liquid Fuels Maintenance Technician. This position performs site management tasks related to fuel systems including minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Coordinating closely with local points of contact at the facility, the project manager, and subcontractors. Always maintaining health and safety requirements and quality control on the site. Document all project activities to ensure all project stakeholders remain informed throughout the project field effort.

Expected Outcome:
</div><ul><li>Provide clients with complete and cost-effective project results according to methods, procedures, and techniques.</li><li>
Perform all project assignments safely, in a technically appropriate and cost-effective manner, and within established schedules and budgets.</li><li>
Manage internal teams, subcontractor crews, and schedule as required. Evaluate personnel actions and shutdown field activities when health and safety or quality is compromised in accordance with approved plans.</li><li>
Conduct/facilitate daily meetings with field team and facilities personnel as needed.</li><li>
Responsible for the on-site quality control program implementation and control activities.</li><li>
Act as liaison with the project manager, owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on technical, safety, and quality related matters as required.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.</li><li>
Record construction and quality control activities on daily logbooks. Provide detailed photographic documentation of work performed, and draft/submit daily activity reports.</li><li>
Must travel.</li></ul><div>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma plus 2 to 5 years&rsquo; experience as a Liquid Fuels Maintenance technician performing basic preventive maintenance and inspections.</li><li>
Understands how to maintain fuels systems for full operational capabilities.</li><li>
Must have working mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge.</li><li>
Must be capable of using manual and power tools as needed.</li><li>
Read and interpret plans and specifications.</li><li>
Complete daily/weekly field reports with photos using Microsoft Office.</li><li>
Strong verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Able to meet time sensitive deadlines and carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>
Analyzing data and resolving issues.</li><li>
Must Travel
</li><li>The following certifications/training are preferred: 40 hr OSHA HAZWOPER, 30 hr OSHA Construction, and First Aid/CPR.</li></ul>

Liquid Fuels Maintenance Technician

An Engineering Associate performs basic technical tasks associated with the field of engineering such as performing calculations, collecting samples, gathering information, and analyzing and coordinating the preparation of deliverables which can include permit applications, reports, Computer-Assisted Drawing (CAD) figures, sketches, and specifications. They also support more senior project team members and management staff in performing engineering tasks and / or monitoring of engineering applications in the field. They are expected to develop a working knowledge of the procedures which are necessary to execute a sound and efficient engineering project, with the goal of developing good project management and execution techniques.

Expected Outcomes:
<ul><li>Perform engineering field assignments including construction observation, site inspections, performing field measurements (sampling, surveying, as required by technical specialty), and conducting field assessment of materials, constructions, and properties.</li><li>
Coordinate the preparation of data tabulation/evaluation and reports. Assist in coordination of report production, permit applications, and development of engineering designs and specifications. Perform quality control (QC) checks on technical documents.</li><li>
Perform various engineering-related calculations and analyses of information in the application of the basic design criteria necessary to complete assigned projects and tasks.</li><li>
Collaborate with CAD technicians, field technicians, designers, and other team personnel to complete projects efficiently and accurately.</li><li>
Assist the project management team in updating / tracking schedule progress and estimating and tracking project costs.</li><li>
Interact with clients in a professional manner, responding to client questions and requests and escalating to more senior team members when appropriate.</li><li>
Delegate to and lead more junior staff in the execution of engineering assignments.</li><li>
Have a working knowledge of the engineering and CAD standards as well as quality requirements in the engineering design process.</li><li>
Engage a licensed engineer in discipline(s) of interest to accelerate mentorship and learning of engineering practice.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) accredited program.</li><li>
Ability to analyze, interpret, and present engineering concepts, designs, and data.</li><li>
Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.</li><li>
Ability to carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office&reg; software.</li><li>
Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Effective organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.</li><li>
Membership in professional organization suited to specific practice is highly encouraged.</li><li>
Ability to meet requirement to travel as needed for 1 day up to 3 weeks at a time.</li><li>
Ability to function in outdoor location such as active construction and/or remediation site.</li><li>
Ability to walk long distances on varied terrain, climb ladders, and work at elevation.</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to receive and deliver detailed information through written and oral communications.</li><li>
Ability to function at a high level in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>
Special &ndash; Employees in hazardous, toxic, and remedial waste (HTRW) and Chemical fields will have ability to meet requirements for functioning while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li></ul>
