Seeking Medical Assistant for Family Medicine PracticeFamily Medicine Practice is seeking a reliable and responsible Medical Assistant. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.Responsibilities for Medical Assistant-Ensure cleanliness of entire office in conjunction with other team members and ensure readiness of exam rooms for patient care -Greet incoming patients in a welcoming manner and escort patients to rooms. -Perform vital signs on patients. -Communicate relevant health history to provider -Set up exam rooms for specific patient care needs (ie GYN exams or procedures) and chaperone/assist with exams if needed (will provide training if needed) -Follow up on provider orders including phlebotomy, EKG, and drawing up of vaccines for provider administration -Documenting vaccines and EKGs and any other procedures done in relevant patient records per provider orders -Ensure that all exam rooms are stocked/supplied and work with MA manager to assist in tracking inventory &amp; vaccine count weeklyQualifications for Medical Assistant-MA Degree -Proficiency in phlebotomy (1 year experience or equivalent preferred) -Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times -Excellent interpersonal skills -Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies -Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures -Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times -Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workWork Hours: Monday-Friday + Occasional WeekendsJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourWork Location: In person
