SCHEDULE: Full-time, 12 hour shifts, Night shift 
FACILITY: Central Regional Jail 
LOCATION: Sutton, WV 26601

Position Summary 
As a Certified Medical Assistant at our facility, you&rsquo;ll provide direct support to physicians, nurses, and mid-level providers while ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely care. Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Obtaining and monitoring patient vital signs
</li><li>Transcribing and implementing physician orders within scope of practice
</li><li>Assisting with examinations and minor procedures
</li><li>Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clean, stocked equipment and supplies
</li><li>Gathering and documenting patient data accurately
</li><li>Providing basic first aid and CPR when required
</li><li>Collecting subjective and objective information for nurse or provider review
</li><li>Assisting with medication and treatment interventions under provider direction
</li><li>Maintaining inventory, checking expiration dates, and restocking supply areas and first aid kits
</li><li>Sterilizing instruments and ensuring proper recordkeeping of medical equipment and supplies
</li><li>Supporting patient education as instructed
</li><li>Performing clerical duties including answering phones, filing, and chart documentation</li></ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Need
<ul><li>Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent from a vocational/technical program)
</li><li>Active CPR certification.
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
