Roles and Responsibilities &ndash; Accounts Executive (Payables, Assets &amp; Inventory)1. Vendor Payables<ul><li>Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.</li><li>Verify purchase orders, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and vendor bills before processing payments.</li><li>Maintain an updated vendor ledger and reconcile vendor accounts periodically.</li><li>Ensure timely payment of suppliers to maintain good relationships and avoid interest/penalty charges.</li><li>Coordinate with the Procurement and Stores departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare periodic vendor ageing reports and highlight overdue accounts.</li><li>Assist in statutory compliance related to vendor payments (GST, TDS, etc.).</li></ul>2. Asset Register Management<ul><li>Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with all capital acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.</li><li>Ensure correct capitalization of assets as per accounting standards and company policy.</li><li>Calculate and record depreciation monthly/annually as per statutory guidelines.</li><li>Tag and track physical assets with unique identification numbers.</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments to conduct periodic physical verification of assets.</li><li>Support auditors by providing asset-related schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.</li></ul>3. Stock Value Updates (Inventory Accounting)<ul><li>Record and update stock values in the accounting system on a periodic basis (daily/weekly/monthly).</li><li>Reconcile stock ledgers with physical stock and stores records.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation (e.g., FIFO, weighted average, or as per company policy).</li><li>Highlight discrepancies in stock valuation and coordinate with Stores/Production for resolution.</li><li>Support monthly and annual closing by preparing inventory schedules and reconciliations.</li><li>Provide data for costing, MIS reporting, and statutory audits related to stock valuation.</li></ul>Key Deliverables<ul><li>Accurate and timely vendor payment processing.</li><li>Updated and reconciled fixed asset register.</li><li>Correct stock valuation aligned with physical records.</li><li>Compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Companies Act, etc.).</li><li>Smooth audit support (internal, statutory, tax, or regulatory).</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies Required<ul><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles (AS/Ind-AS).</li><li>Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Tally, or equivalent).</li><li>Understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and compliance requirements.</li><li>Analytical and reconciliation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.</li><li>Ability to coordinate across functions (Procurement, Stores, Production, Audit).</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;17,112.32 - &#8377;35,418.21 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
