Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, smoothies ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection. As a Barista, you will play a key role in maintaining the caf&eacute;'s welcoming atmosphere while delivering high-quality food and drink service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, and other menu items with precision and care.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute;, including the preparation area and dining space.</li><li>Handle food preparation tasks according to health and safety regulations, ensuring all food items are fresh and properly stored.</li><li>Operate the Square system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.</li><li>Engage with customers to create a friendly environment, offering help and recommendations as needed.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.</li><li>Experience in food preparation and handling within the food service industry is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and caf&eacute; operations is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn more about various brewing methods and flavor profiles.</li></ul>Join our team as a Barista where your skills will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers!***Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour plus tips which equal to $19 -$23 hourly.Mandatory 4 day paid training.***** one year experience in cafe/ restaurant setting mandatory****Store hours of operation is 8am-6pmshifts are 7:30am-1pm, 1-7pmJob Type: Part-timePay: From $17.50 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Barista: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
