JOB OVERVIEW</div><div>
The Oracle Cloud Configuration Lead for Procurement will play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion). This role focuses on functional design, system configuration, integration and data support, process optimization, best-practice adoption, and ongoing production support. The Lead will collaborate with Procurement, Finance, cross-functional IT teams, and third-party partners to drive modernization, support the long-term ERP roadmap, and ensure a scalable, high-performance Oracle Cloud platform.</div><div></div><div>
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</div><ul><li>
System Expertise<ul><li>
Provide hands-on configuration across modules such as Purchase Requisitions, Self Service Procurement, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Agreements.</li><li>
Experience with Supplier Portal</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle Cloud ERP issues to minimize operational impact and ensure system stability.</li><li>
Perform requirement analysis, create functional design documents, conduct setups, and validate end-to-end system behavior.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Technical Expertise<ul><li>
Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP architecture, enterprise structures, and module-specific configurations.</li><li>
Strong experience with:</li><li>
OIC, OTBI, BI Publisher, SmartView, EDI, FBDI, ADFDI, Web ADI, SQL, Groovy, Visual Builder Cloud Service, Oracle Data Hub</li><li>
REST APIs, ETL-based integrations, and integration best practices</li><li>
Experience with PL/SQL, SOA Suite, and ERP security/roles is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot root causes, and implement optimization strategies.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Business Process Insights &amp; Analysis<ul><li>
Conduct detailed analysis of financial and procurement data to provide actionable insights.</li><li>
Evaluate Oracle quarterly updates, assess business impact, and oversee regression testing and deployment.</li><li>
Build solution designs and support complex multi-module Oracle Cloud ERP enhancements.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and improved user experience.</li><li>
Develop end-to-end process documentation and standard operating procedures.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Data, Integrations &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Support finance transformation initiatives, including COA redesign, procurement streamlining, and multi-ERP data alignment.</li><li>
Partner with integration and data teams on data mapping, validation, and cross-system reporting.</li><li>
Implement approval workflows, compliance checks, and reporting solutions using OTBI, BIP, and Oracle Analytics.</li><li>
Work with Oracle Support to resolve issues through Service Requests (SRs) involving seeded functionality.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.</li><li>
Participate in design workshops, solution reviews, testing cycles, and user training.</li><li>
Assist in future-state ERP architecture planning and coexistence strategies with legacy applications.</li><li>
Ensure enhancements and customizations align with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.</li><li>
Provide ongoing production support across Financials and Procurement modules.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Project Management &amp; Delivery<ul><li>
Use Agile methodologies to manage and deliver multiple configuration and analytics workstreams.</li><li>
Support milestone planning, T-shirt sizing of effort, WBS creation, and resource forecasting.</li><li>
Ensure timely delivery of enhancements, break-fix items, integrations, and transformation initiatives.</li></ul></li></ul><div></div><div>
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES</div><ul><li>
Functional Leadership: Serve as the functional subject-matter expert primarily for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) modules with overlap in the Finance modules.</li></ul><div></div><div>
COMPETENCIES - SKILLS</div><ul><li>
Strong functional knowledge of Financials and Procure-to-Pay business processes.</li><li>
Minimum 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations as a lead or primary configurator.</li><li>
Ability to work onsite at least one day per week</li><li>
Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance operations <i>preferred</i>.</li><li>
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tools and advanced reporting platforms <i>preferred</i>.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with T&amp;L <i>preferred</i>.</li></ul><div></div><div>
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.</li></ul><ul><li>
Seven (7)+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting P2P and Financial modules.</li></ul><ul><li>
Oracle Cloud ERP certification.</li></ul><ul><li>
Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics, and Oracle Data Hub.</li></ul><ul><li>
Experience leading or contributing to finance transformation programs, including chart of accounts redesign or multi-module enhancements.</li></ul><ul><li>
Five (5)+ years ERP implementation experience with at least 2+ Oracle Cloud full-cycle implementations as a module lead <i>preferred.</i></li></ul><ul><li>
Experience leading Oracle Fusion solution design workshops (RICEW strategy, conversions, integrations, reports, extensions) <i>preferred.</i></li></ul><ul><li>
Experience implementing or supporting Procurement modules and OIC in complex enterprise environments<i> preferred.</i></li></ul><ul><li>
Experience supporting environments with both cloud and legacy ERP coexistence <i>preferred.</i></li></ul><ul><li>
Strong experience in configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support in Fusion environments <i>preferred</i>.</li></ul><div></div><div>
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT</div><div>
Work Environment: This hybrid position is in Schaumburg and operates in a professional office environment, ability to work onsite at least one day per week.</div><div>

Travel: This position might require minimal travel</div><div>

Pay Range:</div>
$103,100-$144,400<div>
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.</div><div></div><div>
