Essential Job Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience.</li><li>
Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.</li><li>
Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.</li><li>
Inform residents what foods are available on the day&rsquo;s menu.</li><li>
Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.</li><li>
Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.</li><li>
Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.</li><li>
Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.</li></ul><ul><li>
Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.</li><li>
Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.</li><li>

Education, Experience and Other Requirements</b></p><ul><li>
Must be age 16 or older</li><li>
Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language</li></ul><p><b>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required</b></p><ul><li>
Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.</li><li>
Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations</li><li>
Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.</li><li>
Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down</li></ul><p>
 <b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Willingness to learn and help others</li><li>
Enjoyment in working with older adults</li><li>
Some experience in food service is preferred</li></ul></div><p></p>
