Job Function: Accounting &amp; AuditCompany Industry: General TradingEmployment: Full TimeWe are seeking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with strong UAE experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of bookkeeping, UAE VAT compliance, and corporate regulatory filingsKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries</li><li>Prepare financial statements: (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and account analysis</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking and follow-ups</li><li>Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial records</li><li>Handle corporate regulatory filings such as ESR, UBO, and license renewals</li><li>Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and corporate service providers</li><li>Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting</li><li>Assist with Identifying and implementation of improvements to accounting workflows and controls</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Able to Join immediately or on Short Notice Period.</li><li>Bachelor's/master&rsquo;s degree in accounting &amp; finance, or a related field.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in accounting roles, specifically in the UAE</li><li>Solid knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate compliance regulations</li><li>Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or ERP systems)</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel pivot tables, formulas, analysis)</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with Mainland and Freezone filings (e.g., JAFZA, AFZ)</li><li>Familiarity with multi-currency accounting</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
