</div>GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Medical Supply Coordinator is responsible for accurately placing purchase orders with suppliers, maintaining accurate estimated time of arrival (ETA) dates, providing proof of deliveries and ensuring appropriate levels of stock for the Care and Wellness Center and Assisted Living. The Medical Supply Coordinator will support other team members in the Care and Wellness Center and Assisted Living by processing Capital/Reserve requests.

<div>PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties:
1. Accurately process purchase orders in a timely and effective manner for Healthcare Center.
2. Accurately process Capital/Reserve requests and support each department on necessary bids/business case necessary for submission to Director of Financial Services.
3. Ensure reconciliation of delivery of items purchased with invoices.
4. Manage inventory for Healthcare Center including par levels
5. Maintain accurate ETA dates for open orders
6. Work with Accounting to reconcile invoice variances
7. Manage Checkbook as it pertains to Inventory for Healthcare Center
8. Other duties and projects as requested by Administrator and/or DON
9. Monitors, reports regularly and follows-up on inventory/purchasing related issues
to Administrator
10. Schedule equipment to have scheduled calibration.
11. Order and monitor oxygen room. 

Other Job Duties:
1. The community operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and team members may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
2. Team members are required to comply with department uniform and appearance standards, whichever is more specific.
3. Team members are expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Managers/Executive Directors that the team member is capable of performing. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
2. One year minimum experience with inventory management systems including bar code scanning
3. Strong computer proficiency, including scheduling systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
4. Excellent customer service, organizational, and telephone communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
The ability to work well under stress, to be able to adapt to change, and to be flexible are essential. Must be able to work independently. Requires the use of judgment when staffing and the ability to react in a positive and spontaneous matter, to evaluate and to respond appropriately to the needs of staff, residents and families. Must be able to hand a multiplicity of routine tasks; following general and specific instructions carefully and completely. Manual dexterity required using repetitive motion of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers using a computer keyboard or handwriting schedules. Surroundings are comfortable and well lighted. Usual office environment. Visual/hearing acuity sufficient to understand written/oral communication and to observe the resident&rsquo;s condition. While performing this job, good body mechanics are involved, may be required to lift, transport/transfer clients. Bending, squatting, standing and walking as required. Must be able to push approx. 250 pounds in a wheelchair. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Must be able to work under stress and cope with sometimes difficult, confused, disoriented and physically disabled residents. Good working conditions in the home or the health care center. Occasionally may be exposed to unpleasant odors, soiled clothing and linen. May be subjected to verbal abuse or noncooperative residents.</div></div>
