We have an exciting career opportunity for a Network Administrator to join our internal Information Technology team. This position requires working on-site a minimum of three days a week in our Hartford office and occasional travel to other offices (Hamden, CT and Holyoke, MA) as needed.

What you will be doing<ul><li>
Configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs</li><li>
Monitor and manage cloud services (such as Microsoft 365) to ensure scalability and security</li><li>
Collaborate with IT team to design and deploy network architecture that supports business goals</li><li>
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches for network and cloud environments</li><li>
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and cloud-related issues, escalating as needed</li><li>
Conduct quality control reviews of hardware and software configurations to ensure standardization and security</li><li>
Mentor junior IT staff by providing guidance, demonstrations, and opportunities to grow their technical skills</li></ul>
What you must have<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in information technology, computer services, network services, or related field (or equivalent experience</li><li>
Strong experience managing and configuring firewalls, switches, and routing</li><li>
Familiarity with network security principles, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection systems</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365; Microsoft Server and Microsoft 365 certifications is a plus (preferred but not required)</li><li>
Network firewall configuration and management</li><li>
General switch configuration and VLAN management</li><li>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license (or equivalent legal authorization to operate a vehicle)</li><li>
Access to reliable transportation to travel to various office and client locations as required</li><li>
Delivers after-hours emergency service by monitoring emails, ticketing system, and phone calls before and after business during busy season.</li></ul>

Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and firewalls, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency</li><li>
Manage the Firm&rsquo;s cloud systems, servers, and network infrastructure, ensuring systems are up to date and compliant with firm protocols</li><li>
Lead internal IT projects, vendor quotes, and technology purchases while ensuring cost-effectiveness</li><li>
Direct and support the IT team, including staffing, scheduling, training, and mentorship to ensure excellent service delivery</li><li>
Serve as a technical escalation point and provide hands-on support when necessary</li><li>
Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans, testing backup procedures to ensure business continuity</li><li>
Create, update, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation</li><li>
Deliver ongoing IT training to staff and ensure successful adoption of firm technologies</li></ul>
What you must have<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in information technology, computer services, network services, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>
Minimum 10 years of IT experience with strong network and server management background</li><li>
Hands-on experience troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues</li><li>
Proven leadership experience managing IT teams and developing talent</li><li>
Proficiency with:<ul><li>
Microsoft Windows (current versions)</li><li>
Microsoft Active Directory</li><li>
Microsoft Office 365</li><li>
Network, database, and hardware/software architecture</li></ul></li><li>
Strong understanding of IT best practices, compliance, and security protocols</li><li>
