Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Scrum Master with strong experience in driving Agile delivery, optimizing DevSecOps practices, and aligning development efforts with cybersecurity and compliance standards. This role will play a critical part in enabling secure, high-performance software delivery by facilitating agile processes, tracking key performance indicators, and coordinating closely with cybersecurity, DevOps, and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Act as a liaison between technical teams, product owners, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders</li><li>Guide Agile teams through Scrum ceremonies and best practices</li><li>Work closely with security teams to integrate secure development practices into the SDLC</li><li>Promote early detection and resolution of vulnerabilities through threat modeling, security testing, and code review cycles</li><li>Drive awareness of cybersecurity best practices within Agile teams</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to streamline and secure CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Promote automation, continuous testing, and shift-left security strategies</li><li>Ensure transparency through effective communication and status reporting</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field</li><li>3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments</li><li>Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)</li><li>Experience working in DevOps/DevSecOps environments</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)</li><li>Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure SDLC, and vulnerability management</li><li>Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management platforms</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe certification</li><li>Working knowledge of cloud security practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP)</li><li>Experience aligning with compliance standards like SOC2, HIPAA, or ISO27001</li><li>Background in software development or information security a plus</li></ul>Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60617
