What You&rsquo;ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you&rsquo;ll be a key player in ensuring our fresh cut products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Supporting and maintaining food safety and quality assurance systems</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitoring production lines to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards</li></ul>
<ul><li>Conducting sanitation inspections and environmental/allergen swabbing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Accurately documenting and reporting quality data and findings</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communicating with production supervisors and managers to resolve product issues</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identifying and escalating non-conformances or deviations from standards</li></ul>
<ul><li>Verifying proper labeling, packaging, and product specifications</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assisting with internal audits and third-party inspections</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participating in root cause analysis and corrective action processes</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supporting training efforts for production staff on quality and food safety procedures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintaining calibration and verification records for QA equipment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce waste</li></ul>

What We&rsquo;re Looking For

Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:
<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in English (written and verbal)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reliable, accountable, and a team player</li></ul>

Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Background in quality assurance or regulatory compliance</li></ul>
<ul><li>HACCP, PCQI, or SQF certification (preferred)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bilingual communication skills</li></ul>

Work Environment
<ul><li>Cold environment: 34&ndash;42&deg;F (PPE provided)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Wet floors and surfaces &ndash; waterproof boots provided and required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.</li></ul>
