If you thrive in organized chaos, communicate proactively, and love leveling&#8209;up processes on the fly, you&rsquo;ll fit right in.About the PositionYour primary focus is planning, optimizing, and growing digital revenue and website traffic, overseeing branding and community, and leading the Marketing Team of 3 full-time, remote employees.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCampaign planning &amp; management:<ul><li>Ownership of digital marketing revenue, and website traffic from email and social media.</li><li>Quarterly (or monthly) planning of marketing campaigns across channels (email, social, etc) and integrated calendars.</li><li>Coordinate relevant, personal sharing of recipe content, food products, digital products, cookbooks, affiliate products, seasonal themes, and product launches across channels.</li><li>Plan A/B tests and reader polls, report on them, and adjust strategy.</li><li>Create and manage campaign projects in project management system, including planning team tasks and ensuring on-time delivery.</li></ul>Team leadership:<ul><li>Manage the marketing team, including writer, social media manager, and marketing specialist.</li><li>Regular briefs, 1:1s, meetings, feedback, and priorities for the team.</li></ul>Email, content, &amp; social media strategy:<ul><li>Identify and plan strategies to grow our email list (email opt ins, lead magnets, placements, tripwires, ads).</li><li>Oversee email automation, segmentation, and sequences.</li><li>Oversee social media performance including engagement, clicks to our website, product sales, and follower growth.</li><li>Work with the Founder on recipe content strategy, including planning content updates and promotions across channels.</li></ul>Digital products &amp; app:<ul><li>Oversee creation, updates, and strategy for landing pages, digital carts, bump offers, and upsells.</li><li>Oversee digital product creation and strategy.</li><li>Growth strategy for digital products and app.</li></ul>Branding &amp; consistency:<ul><li>Ensure on-brand voice, messaging, and visual style across products and platforms.</li><li>Create and maintain marketing SOPs.</li></ul>Campaign monitoring, reporting, and growth:<ul><li>Ensure that campaigns run smoothly, pivot based on live performance, and solve problems that arise.</li><li>Create reports on multi-faceted campaign results and work with the founder to update strategy.</li></ul>Cross-team alignment:<ul><li>Coordinate with the Wholesome Yum Foods marketing manager to integrate promoting our food products into email and social strategy.</li><li>Feed insights from customer service, reviews, and social into content, product, and marketing strategy.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONSRequired Experience:<ul><li>10+ years of marketing experience, preferably B2C</li><li>2+ years of managing digital content teams</li><li>Mindset &amp; communication: Independent, data-driven, detail&#8209;oriented, and proactive. Comfortable with constructive feedback, fast pivots, and asynchronous remote collaboration via Microsoft&#8239;Teams/email. Strong conversational writing with impeccable grammar that captures the Wholesome Yum voice.</li><li>Cross-channel planning: Alignment of content, email, and social media to promote seasonal themes or launches, including project management, A/B testing, and messaging.</li><li>Analytics &amp; data: Confident using analytics dashboards (email, web, social, spreadsheets), UTMs, spotting data patterns, creating reports, identifying key things to test, and making data-driven decisions.</li><li>Brand voice stewardship: Ability to edit and guide a team for a conversational, on-brand tone across channels.</li><li>Email &amp; lifecycle ownership: Experience building and improving automations and campaigns using an advanced ESP (Kit, Klaviyo, or similar), including segmentation, tagging, A/B testing, and lead magnets (ConvertPro, OptIn Monster, or similar).</li><li>Funnels &amp; conversion: Hands-on experience with landing pages (LeadPages, Elementor, or similar) and checkout systems (ThriveCart or similar), including tripwires, bumps, upsells and improving conversion rate, AOV, etc.</li><li>Social media: High level of understanding how social algorithms work, allowing for effective strategy oversight.</li><li>Design: Eye for design to oversee asset branding and familiar with Canva.</li><li>Home cooking: Preferably healthy recipes and clean ingredients.</li><li>Remote readiness: Able to self&#8209;manage workload, use and delegate in task management system (ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar), and consistently meet Monday&ndash;Friday 10&#8239;AM&ndash;3&#8239;PM&#8239;CT core hours with reliable hardware &amp; high&#8209;speed internet.</li></ul>Nice to Have Experience:<ul><li>Editorial experience: Copy editing, basic SEO, content planning, internal linking, decay analysis</li><li>WordPress experience, specifically Gutenberg and/or Elementor</li><li>Affiliate marketing</li><li>AirTable</li><li>Looker Studio dashboards</li><li>Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar</li><li>Pinterest</li><li>Creation of ebooks, printables, and other marketing materials</li><li>Familiar with Maya&rsquo;s recipes on WholesomeYum.com and Wholesome Yum Foods products</li><li>Marketing&#8209;related degree</li></ul>ABOUT WHOLESOME YUMMaya Krampf began Wholesome Yum in 2015 as a healthy recipe blog.
