 We&rsquo;re looking for a research leader to oversee the study team at WHOOP Labs Doha, our first international product research facility. The Doha lab will partner with the WHOOP Labs Boston team to conduct mixed-methods research to support physiology, user experience, and consumer studies. To serve the company&rsquo;s diverse testing and validation needs, WHOOP Labs completes tens of thousands of data collections a year and creates best in class experience for our participants. WHOOP Labs Doha will set the bar for product innovation research in the GCC, setting strategy for participant experience and contributing to advancing WHOOP technology.
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for someone with a proven track record overseeing researchers and research studies, who is excited to work with our members and isn&rsquo;t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get sweaty. This position is in-person in Doha, Qatar with potential travel to Boston, MA 1-2 times per year.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee the WHOOP Labs Doha research execution team, who conduct participant sessions to support cross-functional initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Champion research integrity, ensuring that data collections align with local regulations for ethical human subjects research and meet session quality standards established for the global WHOOP Labs team
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with the research management team in Boston to help set research goals and processes, ensuring consistent study execution across locations
 </li>
 <li>
 Own protocol adaptation to ensure participant comfort and compliance based on local norms
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct research sessions to support the team, prioritizing complex or high-value projects where a more senior researcher is needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Build the WHOOP Labs Doha brand and represent WHOOP in the GCC region
 </li>
 <li>
 Reports to the Associate Director of WHOOP Labs Doha

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a field related to human subjects research such as psychology, neuroscience, exercise physiology, or consumer science
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years of full-time professional experience in a research or research oversight role
 </li>
 <li>
 1+ years of success leading a team
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working on a distributed international team preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep knowledge of local culture and ability to thoughtfully communicate localization considerations for research at WHOOP Labs Doha
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of best practices regarding human subjects research, including how to obtain IRB approval for new research projects; research ethics, data privacy, and consent
 </li>
 <li>
 Track record of successful project management, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation
 </li>

 </li>

 Strong organizational skills, ability to plan ahead while still being flexible and able to work around challenges

Research Manager, WHOOP Labs Doha

 We&rsquo;re looking for a lab manager passionate about designing premium experiences to help envision our Doha participant strategy for our new WHOOP Labs location. To serve the company&rsquo;s diverse testing and validation needs, WHOOP Labs completes tens of thousands of data collections a year and creates best in class experience for our participants. WHOOP Labs Doha will set the bar for product innovation research in the GCC, setting strategy for participant experience and contributing to advancing WHOOP technology. As the Senior Lab Manager, you will own the participant experience and onboarding process at WHOOP Labs Doha and collaborate closely with the rest of the team to create a rigorous, efficient lab. This position is in-person in Doha, Qatar.

 Responsibilities

 Collaborate with the Senior Research Recruiter to develop a vision for WHOOP Labs Doha participant experience (e.g. offered amenities, compensation redemption)
 </li>
 <li>
 Own WHOOP Labs Doha &ldquo;front of house&rdquo; experience for folks coming to complete research sessions at WHOOP Labs Doha, including greeting participants, checking them in, and answering questions
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with retail staff to ensure arriving participants are supported and directed through the correct arrival flow, setting an exceptional level of customer service and making sure participants' needs are met promptly and efficiently
 </li>
 <li>
 Work collaboratively with the WHOOP Labs teams to ensure the lab is running optimally
 </li>
 <li>
 Own WHOOP Labs Doha communications, responding to incoming emails and messages to the lab and training others on communication processes and policies when appropriate
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain material inventory of lab supplies and place orders for new items as needed or requested by the lab team
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as an ambassador of the company, eloquently and knowledgeably answer questions about WHOOP and represent the brand at activations to support panel recruitment
 </li>
 <li>
 Grow and manage a network of local partnerships in Doha to create new, high-impact relationships with like-minded organizations and community leaders to enhance the participant experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular research with existing participants and new groups to identify opportunities to improve participant experiences

 Qualifications

 3+ years of experience with luxury experience management in wellness, retail, hospitality or related industries

 A passion for providing best in class experiences and efficient behind the scenes operations

 Deep knowledge of local culture and ability to thoughtfully communicate localization considerations for a participant experience tailored to the WHOOP Labs Doha audience
