The Digital Commerce Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of Wilbert&rsquo;s digital commerce ecosystem with a deep understanding of digital marketing. This role drives revenue growth by optimizing digital storefronts, enhancing the end-to-end customer journey, and delivering a seamless, high-performing online experience in a B2B2X business model. 
 
The Digital Commerce Manager plays a critical role in scaling online sales by leveraging data-driven insights, improving conversion rates, and continuously refining merchandising, marketing, and user experience strategies across all digital touchpoints.

Position Overview:
The Digital Commerce Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of Wilbert&rsquo;s digital commerce ecosystem with a deep understanding of digital marketing. This role drives revenue growth by optimizing digital storefronts, enhancing the end-to-end customer journey, and delivering a seamless, high-performing online experience in a B2B2X business model.
The Digital Commerce Manager plays a critical role in scaling online sales by leveraging data-driven insights, improving conversion rates, and continuously refining merchandising, marketing, and user experience strategies across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead Online Commerce: Manage Wilbert&rsquo;s website, ecommerce marketplace, and third-party integrations, ensuring brand consistency, optimal performance, and coveted user experience.</li><li>
Customer Experience Optimization: Enhance the end-to-end digital customer journey from discovery through purchase and post-sale engagement while improving site usability, navigation, checkout flows, and personalization to maximize satisfaction and conversion.</li><li>
Supplier Experience &amp; Enablement: Own the end-to-end third-party supplier journey on the marketplace (onboarding, catalog/content standards, integrations, order workflows, and ongoing support), developing clear playbooks, training, and SLAs.</li><li>
Digital Strategy &amp; Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital commerce strategy aligned to business objectives identifying opportunities to expand online revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.</li><li>
Digital Merchandising &amp; Content: Collaborate closely with Product Management to define assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies, while leading online merchandising initiatives that drive engagement and conversion through high-quality, accurate product content.</li><li>
Digital Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with teams to execute SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns aimed at driving high-quality traffic.</li><li>
Data Analysis: Own and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online sales, analyzing data to identify trends, and making informed decisions to optimize performance.</li><li>
Inventory &amp; Fulfillment: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure products are in stock and orders are fulfilled efficiently.</li><li>
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between Marketing, IT, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure a cohesive customer journey, platform stability, scalability, and innovation.</li></ul>
Experience and Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, communications, business, information systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
5-7+ years of leadership experience in online marketplaces, online retail operations, ecommerce management, and digital marketing, with experience leading direct reports, projects, and cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Familiarity with web design principles, CRO strategies, UX/UI principles, and personalization tools</li><li>
Ability to interpret data, provide actionable insights, and make strategic decisions</li><li>
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills</li><li>
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines</li><li>
Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO and digital marketing principles</li><li>
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar platforms)</li><li>
Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems</li><li>
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects, remain calm under pressure, work collaboratively, and maintain organizational brand standards</li><li>
Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments</li><li>
On-Site or Hybrid role requiring presence at Corporate HQ (Leawood, Kansas).</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).</li></ul>
