Role Overview:</div></div><div></div><div><div>
An Agriculture Field Scout I is responsible for pest trap placement and monitoring/recording pest activity of various crops and pests. The Field Scout works closely with the field sales team and the operations support team. **THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION**</div></div><div></div><div><div>
A Sample of What You&rsquo;ll Do in this Role:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Prepare and install traps for placement in the field</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Inspect and monitor traps on a weekly basis</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Maintain data counts of the number of pests trapped</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Use GPS technology to map fields</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Comply with company safety standards</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Take soil samples as needed or directed by sales</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Scout crops for economic pests and report to the appropriate Sales Representative</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
What You Bring to the Role:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
A strong interest in Agriculture, Plant Science, or Horticulture</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Intermediate level proficiency with standard software including MS Office Suite</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Ability to safely operate a vehicle within state laws and company policies and guidelines</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)</div></li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><div>

You are dependable and reliable</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
You&rsquo;re willing to work overtime and occasionally work on Saturdays</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
Compensation and Benefits:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
The base compensation for this position ranges from $16.06 to $21.45 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
