We&rsquo;re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Surface Pattern &amp; Print Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for composition, color, and texture, and loves translating artistic ideas into timeless, print-ready surfaces. You&rsquo;ll work closely with our founder and creative team to design original wallpapers, patterns, and surface collections for both kids and bespoke clients.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Concept Development:</li></ul>Translate briefs and inspirations into cohesive design concepts, moodboards, and color palettes.<ul><li>Motif Creation:</li></ul>Hand-draw or digitally illustrate motifs inspired by nature, architecture, craft, and culture.<ul><li>Pattern Development:</li></ul>Build seamless, repeatable surface patterns (half-drop, straight, block, etc.) suited for wallpaper and textile applications.<ul><li>Digitization &amp; Refinement:</li></ul>Digitize hand-drawn artwork, refine details, and prepare vector and raster artwork for production.<ul><li>Color &amp; Scale Exploration:</li></ul>Experiment with multiple colorways and pattern scales to create balanced, harmonious compositions.<ul><li>Sampling &amp; Proofing:</li></ul>Coordinate with the production team for sampling, test prints, and color accuracy checks.<ul><li>Collection Building:</li></ul>Work on themed pattern collections with clear storytelling and visual consistency.<ul><li>Collaboration:</li></ul>Liaise with illustrators, stylists, and photographers for shoot and catalog development.Skills &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop</li><li>Knowledge of pattern repeats, tiling, and scaling for large-format printing</li><li>Understanding of print production (CMYK, color management, texture overlays, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work from hand-drawn sketches or digital illustrations</li><li>Keen attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines</li><li>A strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling</li><li>Bonus: Experience in textile, wallpaper, or home d&eacute;cor design</li></ul>Qualification &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Surface Design, or related field</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in surface pattern design (fresh talent with an exceptional portfolio may also apply)</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing original pattern work, motif creation, and repeat design capability</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Opportunity to design for one of India&rsquo;s leading contemporary wallpaper &amp; textile design brands</li><li>Exposure to national and international projects and collaborations</li><li>A creative, story-driven work culture where art meets commerce</li><li>Flexible working options and creative autonomy</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 6 monthsPay: From &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: In person
