Wilks Tire & Battery Service

 As a Commercial P&amp;D driver you will work out of our Wilks location providing P&amp;D service to our Commercial Customers and move product from store locations, Warehouse to customers as needed.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Report to and work under the direction of Store Manager and Support Sales Staff, such as Commercial Sales Manager, or Sales team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Physically load and unload product for safe transportation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Properly and accurately check load invoice against product load and be accountable of process to management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consistent work attendance, as it is important to be consistent with customer's delivery days and schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean and maintain delivery truck and trailer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and inspect truck and trailer regularly to keep a safe and well-kept delivery unit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned by management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any safety issues immediately to management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help keep shop areas clean and organized.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a professional appearance.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Basic Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Clean, valid Driver's license
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be at least 21 years of age.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have or able to obtain DOT Health Card
 </li>
 <li>
 Physically able to roll commercial truck tires onto and off trailer ramp (50 -150 lbs.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to drive for 8+ hours per day within DOT limits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED.
 </li>
 <li>
 CDL a plus, but not required.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Candidate Criteria
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Commitment to follow all safety procedures and comply with DOT regulations and safety requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
