The Senior Billing Analyst is a key resource for the client&rsquo;s billing team and will be responsible for all aspects of client billing including bill preparation, daily process administration, research and analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution, reporting and any special assignments. The position is also responsible for creating budget projections for clients, assisting in some collections, interpreting, and communicating client billing guidelines in support of both client and colleagues and coordinating special billing arrangements.</div><div></div><div>

Pay: $27.25 - $28.00/hour</div><div>
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm</div><div></div><div>

Job qualifications</div><ul><li><div>
Associate&rsquo;s or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred with concentration in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of education, based upon candidate&rsquo;s overall employment history</div></li><li><div>
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</div></li><li><div>
Minimum four years of billing experience in a law-firm or professional organization required. Five years or more preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills</div></li><li><div>
Superior customer service and a demonstrated ability to work in challenging and dynamic environment</div></li><li><div>
Self-directed with a strong work ethic; capable of working independently with limited supervision</div></li><li><div>

(* denotes an &ldquo;essential function&rdquo;)</div><ul><li><ul><li>Perform work editing, preparing or processing legal invoices and prebills/proformas according to established procedures and guidelines</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Submit and manage rejections of electronic invoices in designated client system</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Assist customers with billing/e-billing inquiries, troubleshoot issues and follow-up with operational areas on the client side.</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Understand and comply with all assigned client billing guidelines and demonstrate understanding through use of effective communication</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Execute accruals, budgets, and information and data requests</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Execute monthly invoices as assigned</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Provide exemplary support to client partners and Williams Lea supervisors and managers, keeping them fully apprised of statuses and action plans on key issues and problems</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Provide workflow guidance to more junior team members</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Serve as value-added subject matter expert and support resource for billing staff</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Perform daily departmental duties as assigned</li></ul></li><li><div>
Ensure the team is current on relevant billing topics and activity</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with other financial colleagues to resolve issues and ensure optimal execution of departmental responsibilities</div></li><li><div>
Communicate issues and resolutions timely, effectively, and professionally</div></li><li><div>
Serve as back up to fellow team members, as appropriate</div></li><li><div>
Proactively recommend process and procedural enhancements including but not limited to documenting processes and improvements</div></li><li><div>
Assists with updating documentation relating to special billing arrangements.</div></li><li><div>
Create and maintain required spreadsheets to track/monitor various functions as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Interact with clients in person, over the phone or electronically with care and professionalism</div></li><li><div>
Complete special projects as assigned</div></li><li><div>
