 The Senior Engineering Manager will have direct responsibility for leading the Engineering team and lead a team that works closely with internal partners, operations leadership, and external vendors in implementation and support of process improvement initiatives and projects within the Supply Chain.

 <li>
 Lead and supervise the engineering team; hire, train, develop, assess and empower staff to achieve the department's goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leads development of business practices across our domestic warehousing network
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze processes and systems across the supply chain and leverage cross-functional partnerships to drive process improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Providing thought-leadership and innovative ideas to solve supply chain problems
 </li>
 <li>
 Create standard operating procedures and labor standards for all warehousing processes, and maintain the engineering configuration for Labor Management platforms where applicable
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead capital projects - Gather requirements, create layouts and process flows, manage vendors and budgets, and maintain communication with all stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Leads project development and justification including vendor selection, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI estimation
 </li>

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in industrial engineering or similar engineering discipline
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 7-10 years successful experience in engineering roles that support operations
 </li>
 <li>
 This is an onsite and in office role
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated success in the management of people and very strong leadership traits
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills for evaluating processes and identifying areas for improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Organization and communication skills &ndash; Demonstrable talent with collaboration, presentation, planning, negotiation, and root cause determination
 </li>
 <li>
 Adaptability to changing business requirements and technologies, and strong critical thinking to implement effective solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Desire for continuous learning and professional development supported with project variety, self-paced learning resources, vendor / technology discovery, seminars, etc.
 </li>

 Experience with AutoCAD
 </li>
 <li>
 Lean Six Sigma certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Programming language knowledge focused on data retrieval and manipulation &ndash; SQL, Python
 </li>
 <li>
 Data modeling and visualization software &ndash; PowerBI, Qlik, MicroStrategy, Tableau
 </li>
 <li>
 Project management or change management experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Automated material handling equipment and/or robotics
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of AI / LLM usage and model training with application to this role
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant software and tools such as warehouse management systems (WMS), labor management systems (LMS), warehouse execution systems (WES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior work in distribution centers
 </li>
