Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic Mayfaire dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and have experience in various dental procedures. Must love people and have a passion for the profession!!Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.</li><li>Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.</li><li>Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.</li><li>Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently, utilizing aseptic techniques during all procedures.</li><li>Provide patient education on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences.</li><li>Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Dentrix.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.</li><li>Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.</li><li>Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.</li><li>Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical practice and documentation.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
