Position Overview:
The People &amp; Culture Generalist plays a key role in supporting Wilson Connectivity's people-focused initiatives, with responsibilities divided between full-cycle recruiting and general HR operations. This position manages the end-to-end recruitment process-sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent-while also supporting broader People &amp; Culture programs including employee engagement, communications, events, and HR administration.
This role works closely with hiring managers and reports directly to the Director of People &amp; Culture as part of a collaborative three-person HR team. The position is based in St. George, UT and follows a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3>
Recruiting &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>
Manage full-cycle recruitment from job posting to onboarding across multiple departments and role types.</li><li>
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create postings, and develop sourcing strategies.</li><li>
Identify and engage candidates through social media, job boards, educational partnerships, and networking events.</li><li>
Conduct interviews, extend offers, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.</li><li>
Maintain applicant tracking system (ApplicantPro preferred) and recruitment analytics via Power BI.</li><li>
Represent Wilson Connectivity as a brand ambassador in all candidate interactions and community outreach.</li></ul>
HR Generalist &amp; Employee Engagement<ul><li>
Serve as a liaison between People &amp; Culture and employees to support communication, engagement, and policy understanding.</li><li>
Coordinate company events, recognition programs, and employee committees to strengthen workplace culture.</li><li>
Support employee lifecycle processes including new hire onboarding, personnel record maintenance, and policy communication.</li><li>
Create and distribute HR materials including internal newsletters, event flyers, and engagement campaigns (basic graphic design skills in Canva a plus).</li><li>
Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and reporting initiatives.</li><li>
Manage employee swag and store inventory.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Proven experience in recruiting or HR generalist roles with measurable results.</li><li>
Familiarity with ATS systems (ApplicantPro preferred) and sourcing tools.</li><li>
Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.</li><li>
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Basic graphic design or marketing skills for internal communications preferred.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
SHRM Certification (preferred but not required).</li><li>
Experience in technical or manufacturing recruiting.</li><li>
Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft 365.</li><li>
Spanish fluency preferred.</li><li>
