<p><b>
The Position</b></p>
<p>
Wilson Elser is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a national client services team, serving as a liaison between a key leadership group with close client contact and the broader national client services team leadership.</p>
<p><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Schedules and manages highly confidential meetings, documents and information</li>
<li>Manages complex calendars; uses sound judgement to coordinate day-to-day meetings and responsibilities across a team of attorneys</li>
<li>Schedules and tracks key meeting series, client requests, and project management, works backwards from deadlines to manage team communications and ensure deliverables are met</li>
<li>Collaborates on projects aimed at improving communication, document management, data entry, and data management</li>
<li>Assists with project management functions and process implementation on the client services team, including document preparation, enforcement of process improvements; and support with data collection, entry, and management</li>
<li>Provides clerical or administrative legal services support as requested</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent professional experience</li>
<li>Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a law firm setting.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Document Management Systems</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)</li>
<li>Experience with data entry or data management a plus</li>
<li>Familiarity with web-based collaborative tools and work management software a plus</li>
<li>Experience with team messaging and instant messaging platforms a plus</li>
<li>Experience with email and calendar management, meeting coordination, and direct client interaction.</li>
<li>Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously</li>
<li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a collaborative, national team environment supporting attorneys and paralegals</li>
<li>Demonstrated professionalism in all client and internal communication</li>

The Position</b></p>
<p>
The Litigation Summer Law Clerk position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious, focused and organized to gain experience supporting a fast-paced team in a national law firm. The Law Clerk will assist our lawyers in all facets of state and federal civil litigation, including legal research, preparation of first drafts of pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and reports, and involvement in strategy sessions.</p>
<p>
The position requires 40 hours per week, in-person, at our Seattle office.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct in-depth legal and factual research to support active cases.</li>
<li>Analyze legal and factual issues to provide critical insights for case strategies.</li>
<li>Review documents for relevancy and legal issues, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</li>
<li>Assist attorneys with discovery processes, trial preparation, and trial-related tasks, gaining hands-on experience in litigation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with attorneys on drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and case strategy discussions.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required. Currently enrolled as a law student for the 2025-2026 academic year at an accredited law school.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in litigation and trial practice. Familiarity with litigation processes is a plus.</li>
<li>Highly organized, goal-oriented, and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.</li>
<li>Previous work in a professional, fast-paced environment is preferred.</li>

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
