<p>The Creative Services team creates both digital and print solutions to meet the firm&rsquo;s visual communication needs under a corporate umbrella of design. Project types span all areas&mdash;interface design, digital presentations, email outreach (client alerts, event invitations, announcements, and newsletters), social media&mdash;as well as a variety of printed marketing collateral, signage, photography, and file manipulation.</p>
<p>We are seeking a candidate with senior-level, expert graphic design and PowerPoint presentation skills. We are specifically looking for someone highly skilled in creating engaging presentation and publication designs or similar work.</p>
<p>This position is available with a hybrid work schedule and would start as a 6-month contract position with the possibility of converting to a regular full-time position (depending upon performance).</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h2>
<ul><li>Create initial design concepts, formatting and production of artwork in variety of media for both digital and print communications</li>
<li>Create high-level, bespoke PowerPoint solutions for client-facing presentations</li>
<li>Create evolving design concepts for all required materials while maintaining the firm&rsquo;s brand standards</li>
<li>Display and signage design concepts/production as appropriate for events and conferences</li>
<li>Be able to lead projects while collaborating closely with Creative Director, designers, marketing leads, and attorneys</li>
<li>Create presentations internally and externally across all fronts including events, marketing, trainings, client pitches, board meetings, and other internal communications</li>
<li>Conceptualize ideas graphically with minimal instruction in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines</li>
<li>Integrate data, charts, and graphs into visually appealing and easy-to-understand infographics</li>
<li>Balance workload of requests ranging from simple mockups to full ideation, design, and production</li>
<li>Be able to adhere to project timelines to ensure on-time, on-strategy, high-quality deliverables</li>
<li>Be up to date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to design, digital media, and user experience</li>
<li>Familiarity with WordPress is a plus</li>
<li>Familiarity with Marketo and Salesforce is a plus</li>
<li>Duties may span into the creation of email communications &ndash; experience in HTML is a big plus</li>
<li>Experience in digital communications of all types with the ability to produce clean HTML code and troubleshoots problems as they occur &ndash; especially when it comes to cross platform compatibility is a plus</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Experience and Skills</b></h2>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design/visual communication or equivalent experience</li>
<li>8+ years of graphic design experience in both digital and print media</li>
<li>Extreme accuracy and attention to detail is critical</li>
<li>Excellent written communication skills for internal communications and proof reading</li>
<li>Expert level skills in PowerPoint &ndash; must be able to easily navigate the software, have a solid understanding of complex data, content, and text to return an appropriate, visually-pleasing presentation that follows corporate branding nuances</li>
<li>Expert level skills in InDesign &ndash; must be able to create complex newsletters, publications, and visually-pleasing design layouts</li>
<li>Chart layout &ndash; understanding of how to pull data from Word/Excel and produce custom charts for use in dense, graphics-heavy publications and reports within MS Office and Adobe Applications</li>
<li>Essential core software skills to include Adobe Creative Cloud 2024+ Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, &amp; Dreamweaver, and knowledge of streamlined workflow and keyboard shortcuts within each program</li>
<li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for the creation of charts and tables</li>
<li>Ability to format, edit, and effectively preflight a variety of print collateral prior to sending to external print vendors</li>
<li>Must display excellent customer service and collaboration skills</li>
<li>Works well within a team environment and is comfortable taking creative and process direction</li>
<li>Able to multi-task and juggle frequently changing priorities</li>
<li>Comfortable working on both Mac and PC platforms and have current working knowledge of OS shortcut commands to speed workflow</li>
<li>Strong work ethic &ndash; candidate needs to be reliable and punctual</li>
</ul>
<p>The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate&rsquo;s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:</p>
<p>Palo Alto, San Francisco: $49.04 &ndash; $66.35 per hour.
<br>
Century City, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle: $44.13 &ndash; $59.71 per hour.</p>
