<div><div><div><p>The Wilton Fire Protection District is a team-oriented organization that consists of one staffed fire station, two resident volunteer fire stations, three full-time captains and a combination of volunteer firefighters as well as resident volunteer firefighters. The District provides fire suppression and emergency medical assistance to residents located within its 59 -square-mile boundary. Adding volunteer members to our staffing is extremely vital to the success of our District.</p>

<div><p><b>JOB OBJECTIVES:</b></p>
<p>
Assists in Suppression of fires, rescue and lifesaving operations; responds to emergency medical calls and renders first aid; handles fire streams and other fire service equipment in suppression of fires; performs daily maintenance of stations, quarters, apparatus and equipment; makes required equipment checks; assists in putting apparatus and equipment back in readiness for other emergencies; attends scheduled mandatory training drills; performs other duties as assigned.</p>

The Wilton Fire Protection District will provide a per shift monetary stipend.</p>
<p><b>
REQUIREMENTS:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Fire Academy Completion or California State Fire Marshal Firefighter I Certificate</li>
<li>Attended and successfully completed an approved Firefighter Academy</li>
<li>California Emergency Medical Technician-Basic</li>
<li>Willing to work a minimum of one (1) twenty-four (24) hour shift per week</li>
<li>Attend mandatory monthly training sessions</li>
<li>Must be in good health</li>
<li>Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age</li>
<li>Valid California Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul></div></div></div></div>
