Windfield is growing quickly and we are looking for an experienced driver to join our fleet! Our ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team member who has experience in delivering and transporting material.A clean driving record and top-notch customer service skills are a must. Experienced, safety conscious, and customer-focused drivers encouraged to apply!Requirements: <ul><li>CDL A or B drivers license in good standing</li><li>Minimum of 12 months verifiable dumpster and roll off experience</li><li>Must live in 50 mile radius of 03811</li><li>Full-time, Monday - Friday</li></ul>Responsibilities: <ul><li>Transport and deliver scrap metal, waste, and electronics in a safe and timely manner to Windfield customers.</li><li>Communicate with the Windfield team and customers throughout the shift.</li><li>Represent Windfield when delivering material to customer and partner facilities.</li><li>Always put safety first and will always wear appropriate PPE.</li><li>Should prefer working in a team environment but be comfortable working on independent tasks</li></ul>Day-to-day expectations: <ul><li>Pre-inspect truck, coordinate loading the materials with facility supervisors, verify load for accuracy</li><li>Set up job perimeters by inspecting the site to ensure a safe environment to unload</li><li>Communicate regularly with Windfield Logistics Supervisor to ensure timely material delivery at facilities</li><li>Keep logbook up-to-date at all times</li><li>Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>What will give me an edge over other applicants?<ul><li>Tenured experience transporting and delivering material across New England</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to provide great customer service</li><li>Mechanic experience is a plus, but not required</li></ul>What can I expect?<ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li></ul>About Windfield Founded in 1978, as a small refinery in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Windfield has grown to one of the largest single source recyclers in New England with facilities in Lawrence, Haverhill, and Atkinson.
