Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Banquet Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our event service, providing exceptional beverage service at banquets, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring smooth operations and a lively atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, skilled in mixing drinks, and experienced in handling fast-paced food and beverage environments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations</li><li>Set up bar stations efficiently before events, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and organized</li><li>Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their event experience</li><li>Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout shifts, following food handling standards</li><li>Collaborate with catering staff and event coordinators to ensure timely service delivery during busy events</li><li>Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly, checking IDs as needed, and adhering to legal drinking age laws</li><li>Assist in closing procedures, including inventory counts, restocking supplies, and cleaning the bar area</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a bartender in banquet settings or fine dining environments; nightclub or catering experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously while maintaining quality service</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to all legal requirements and company policies</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order management</li><li>Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred; retail math knowledge is advantageous</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as needed for event schedules</li></ul>Join our vibrant team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable moments!
