 Develop and implement a comprehensive global materials management strategy with strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers.

 What You&rsquo;ll Need

 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or closely related fields complemented by relevant practical experience.

 Experience in large scale manufacturing or logistics-intensive industries is highly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing efficient materials management strategies and processes, including inventory optimization and supplier management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, material CTB reports, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to improve material flow and reduce costs.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Serve as the primary on-site Manufacturing Engineering lead at the Contract Manufacturing (CM) facility, acting as the central point of contact and technical expert for all manufacturing process-related activities and issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with Program Management, Quality, and Testing teams to ensure complete production coverage, driving quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive the resolution of manufacturing issues in a CM environment by problem-solving via Design of Experiments (DOEs), from setup and execution to analysis and implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide engineering guidance and support for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical jigs and fixtures, aimed at enhancing process control and maximizing operational efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop standard processes and documentation for manufacturing processes including process flow chart, SOP, tool and fixture requirements and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Design teams to integrate and champion Design for Manufacturability (DFM/A) principles early in the product development cycle, influencing designs for optimal manufacturability, cost, and reliability.

 Seamlessly interface with Design, Quality, and Sourcing teams to ensure efficient component sourcing, rigorous qualification, and successful integration into manufacturing processes.

 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, including driving a product from NPI to Mass Production.

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.

 Strong manufacturing background in developing robust and repeatable processes to scale new products, including process design, fixture development, and line qualification in a fast-paced environment.

 Experience with PCB and SMT processes, as well as knowledge of coating application and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to provide DFM/DFA feedback to support continuous manufacturing improvement at vendors and contract manufacturers

 Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify root causes, conduct data-driven analysis, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

 Ability to use 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks) to review fixture design, analysis, and minor modifications.

 <li>
 Understanding of GD&amp;T principles, applications, measurement methods and tolerance stack-up analysis for component and assembly design.

This candidate should be a team player working with Contract Manufacturer (CM) teams, Wing Reliability, hardware, mechanical engineering and other teams. The candidate should be able to drive CM&rsquo;s mfg quality issue resolution and effectively communicate to management, cross functional teams, as well as the CM(s).
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Responsible for setting and executing advanced quality plans including incoming, in process and outgoing quality checks for assemblies or components at the CM
 </li>

 Define and review specification requirements for fit, function, and reliability by working together with Wing Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering and reliability team

 Work with massive amounts of data and measure quality

 Identify, record, and report any problems through trend analysis, and drive production yield improvement

 Perform incoming inspection as required as well as final inspection

 Audit CM&rsquo;s entire process including SMT, and drive sub tier supplier SCARs corresponding identified in CM&rsquo;s process audit

 Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to CM&rsquo;s non-compliance identified in CM&rsquo;s process audit

 <li>
 Manage CM&rsquo;s SMT and assembly line qualifications in different stages of product life cycle

 Manage CM&rsquo;s quality performance and drive continuous improvement activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify potential suppliers, audit their quality system, and assess their manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of materials, product design, manufacturing, assembly, testing etc. as required

 5+ years of experience in quality or reliability engineering role that manages product from NPI to significant volumes at the manufacturing stage

 BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
 </li>

 Industrial experience in injection molding, CNC machining, die casting, mechanical assembly, testing or PCBA SMT
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams and leadership team
 </li>

 Strong manufacturing background in developing robust and repeatable processes to scale new products, including process qualification, process quality control and line qualification in a rapid schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, TS16949, IPC-A-610 etc

 Expert in driving engineering requirements, and continuous quality improvement at vendors and contract manufacturers
