Summary'We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. In this role based in our local government office, you will play a vital part in providing a variety of Human Resource-related functions to County departments and employees. This position serves as EEO/Harassment and Affirmative Action Officer. 'Responsibilities' ' Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with community-focused public service goals.<ul><li>Manage employee relations to foster a positive work environment.</li><li>Oversee recruitment processes to attract qualified candidates for various departments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with employment laws.</li><li>Serves as EEO/Harassment and Affirmative Action Officer and main investigator for discrimination, harassment and other complaints.</li><li>Support organizational development through training and succession planning.</li><li>Collaborate with department leaders on workforce planning and change management initiatives.'</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in human resources management within the public sector or similar environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of employment &amp; labor law.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to manage employee relations effectively.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.</li><li>Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.</li><li>Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.'</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in our community!
