Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented bi-lingual Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. Your expertise will help streamline case workflows, ensure meticulous documentation, and facilitate effective communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and possesses a strong foundation in legal research, case management, and document review.Duties<ul><li>Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing personal injury cases, including drafting demand packages, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence</li><li>Manage case files efficiently within legal case management systems such as CasePeer, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date</li><li>Review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents to build strong cases for clients</li><li>Coordinate with medical providers and insurance companies to gather necessary documentation and facilitate communication</li><li>Interview clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to obtain detailed accounts of incidents and injuries</li><li>Maintain meticulous records of case progress, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures</li><li>Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism while adhering to court formatting standard</li><li>Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy</li><li>Perform data entry tasks related to case details while maintaining confidentiality and data security standards</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a paralegal specializing in personal injury law or related fields such as workers' compensation law or litigation</li><li>Familiarity with legal case management software such as CasePeer and FileVine, or similar systems</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines</li><li>Attention to detail for document review, proofreading, transcription tasks, and data entry accuracy</li><li>Effective interviewing skills to gather comprehensive client statements and witness testimonies</li><li>Proficiency in document management systems for filing and retrieving case files efficiently</li><li>Strong administrative skills including executive support functions such as calendar management and phone etiquette</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions</li></ul>Join our team where your dedication will make a real difference!
